Kitchen Porter (KP)/Driver - Full Time
Tantrum Doughnuts is an award-winning, independent doughnut shop with two centrally located Glasgow shops. Everything in our bakery is handmade, from our signature brioche dough to our glazes, jams, custards and toppings. We focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients as well as working with local producers.
Job description:
Full-Time KP/Driver
We have just moved into our new bakery in the Port Dundas area (G4) and are looking for a KP/Driver to join our small and friendly team.
Shifts start at 6:30am and finish around 1pm over 5 days a week. The right candidate must hold a clean driver’s license.
Duties Include:

Driving our small Caddy Van to our local shops to drop off doughnuts first thing in the morning.

Keeping the bakery to a high standard of cleanliness, washing pots, pans, bakery equipment and containers (no crockery)

Helping with unloading and putting away deliveries.

Deep cleaning fridges, fryers and store rooms.

Emptying bins, sweeping and washing floors.
Our ideal candidate has:

Experience within a bakery, kitchen or other fresh produce environment is desirable, however full training is provided.

Strong communication skills and ability to use WhatsApp to communicate with shops and kitchen.

A positive attitude and checkable references are essential. You’ll need to be a team player who can work with speed, while consistently maintaining a high standard of work.
